leaf art

Today we made leaf art with Isaac Isla and Meghan. First we had to go outside and get the different shapes and colours of leaves.Next we had to come inside and use PVA glue to glue them together.last week had to cut the mouth losing onto the paper and then you put it under the heat pump to dry a little better.I enjoyed making the parrot andcutting out the leaves it was very fun.

  1. Thomas, your parrot looks very leafy! What did you call it? Where did you find those leaves? I'm glad you're enjoying spending time with other children that aren't in your class at school. I wonder what your script will be like for your puppet play? Keep up the great work Thomas!

  2. Hi Thomas, your leaf parrot looks fabulous. You found some different leaves around the school. I wonder what trees they came from? I'm pleased you enjoyed this activity.

  3. Tino pai Thomas! This really does look like a parrot! Do you know a Maori word for any of our native parrots? It sounds like you enjoyed being creative with the other learners. Keep up the great work!

  4. Hi Thomas,
What a great looking parrot you have made and I like the way you have him sitting on a branch. I'm pleased you enjoyed this art activity, and, what a great idea putting it under the heat pump so it could dry more quickly.
